Hadoop is an open source software that allows data to be spread over large clusters of commodity servers. Hadoop is one of the most common systems based on Java that allows you to obtain results in a timely manner. For simple needs like design patterns including aggregation, counting, filtering etc. you need Hadoop. For other complex needs you need machine learning which in turn depends on Hadoop to solve problems. Hadoop is a technology that can store large volumes of data and for many data scientists the ability to manage data using Hadoop becomes necessary.
